I've been writing a couple of articles on oral health on my blog. So I went out of my way to even create an animated infographic, how to brush your teeth the healthy way. Many people have been brushing their teeth the wrong way, so I decided to write and share it here.

Usually, most people brush their teeth from side-to-side which is the wrong and unhealthy way to do it. This is because using the side to side motion could easily wear out your gums in the long run. This could cause gum issues like gingivitis. So it is important to maintain your oral health very strong. I will give you some tips on how to do so...

First, make sure to brush your teeth twice a day, at least 2-minute sessions. This is recommended by the ADA who are the American Dental Association. Also, you should brush every tooth twice with soft bristles and in between, rinse.

Now, the best brushing technique you should use is the 'circular motion.' This should be on the inner and outer surfaces of your teeth. You should also avoid adding pressure to your gums, as this will irritate and cause even bigger problems down the road. The only technique for side-to-side motion is the biting surfaces. This is because the gums aren't in the way. Make sure to follow the instruction on the infographic.
