Good points. Many do dump immediately after. Some of them do take off, though. Sometimes it depends on the demand that's present when the coin hits the exchanges. That, and other factors.

I think that whatever he comes up with will be the social media equivalent of Ripple: commercially successful, but not decentralized. Facebook is kind of the opposite of what most blockchain solutions

Yeah, I think that this will become an even bigger issue over the coming months, worldwide. Mining Bitcoin is too resource-intensive. I think that coins of the future will have to consider this in general,

I prefer ETH trading as well. It's become my go-to since I stopped using Litecoin. I still don't like the concept of gas, and it usually costs more than Litecoin trades, but besides that, things are fine.

Yeah, Bitcoin is bound to fail, imo. If you would have asked me yesterday, I would have said that Litecoin is the obvious successor. Charles Lee's decision to sell his coins has shaken my confidence, though.
