Yes I have. I used my old Samsung Galaxy S4 and even on Bytecoin it only gets 10 H/s on average. It has to be on the charger the entire time, so I doubt it is worth it. I used my S7 Edge just out of curiosity

Just an idea, but you could use the case fan out of your old desktop tower to dissipate some of the heat from your router. That would be efficient enough to run on a fairly small solar panel and be quiet
