I played COD on the PS3, and played more tactical FPS on the PC. I have access to a PS4, but it doesn't have Plus, so I usually just play WWII offline with bots or my friends.

Well when mining, its all the same computer parts, no matter what you mine. I suggest the Nvidia GTX 1080. Go to pcpartpicker, and itll tell you if the computer parts will work together.
