Gumbo has been a big help with the extra chores during the holidays. He was happy to volunteer to help with the dishes!

I hope everyone had a very merry Christmas. Gumbo certainly enjoyed it. Here he is with his new toy - a stuffed log filled with squirrels! He loves making the squirrels squeek. It is such a joy to watch

Finally a break in the rain. Gumbo and I took advantage and managed to fit in a short walk. Great to get some fresh air and find some new smells.

Ilsa is over this constant rain. She opted to stay on the porch rather than venture out into the wet grass!

Another dreary day outside. Instead of being out in the rain, we had treats inside! Yum!

The grass is starting to green up even though the temperatures outside are a bit chilly. The pups are making the most of it, and we are all ready for spring!
