BIG NEWS: Everyone is talking about Cardano this week after ADA hit $2 again. ADA is now the third largest cryptocurrency, according to CoinGecko rankings. Just in case you’re wondering, CoinMarketCap agrees. Fans are expecting smart contracts on the blockchain in September. Two questions:

Will it stay there? I think it may not because it isn’t that far above BNB and just a few cents change for either coin could have them flip places again.
What is ADA’s long-term staying power? I think the prospects here are pretty good and I’m looking forward to seeing new developments at Cardano. Should I do more reporting on important Cardano/ADA milestones? Let me know in the comments or reply to the email.

Bitcoin bounced over $47,000 yesterday afternoon. Here’s why it matters to investors that bitcoin has value just because people think it does. And people are still asking if it’s legal in India. A Poly Network hacker has returned stolen cryptocurrency worth almost $600 million. Some crypto that was frozen is still at large, tethered to a Tether wallet awaiting return. Evidently, the hacker was just having fun. Poly want a cracker? Who are the bitcoin whales and how do they trade? If you’ve been wondering, this is a great read. I’m not 100 percent certain of a numbers they throw around, but look at how much Satoshi Nakamoto may be worth today! Just when you thought Mark Cuban quit smoking funny stuff and bought some sense, he says Dogecoin is the strongest cryptocurrency as a medium of exchange. Elon Musk must have got in his head. Intel has revealed that it holds stake in Coinbase. Coinbase announced a new milestone this week: the crypto exchange recorded $1.6 billion in Q2 profits. Seeking Alpha says Coinbase stock is still undervalued. Finder has made a useful list of the best crypto exchanges. They’ve categorized them as the best in six different categories. Kraken isn’t on the list, however. See how it compares to Coinbase. Ethereum fans are ganging up on Twitter and Square founder Jack Dorsey over a tweet Dorsey shared that was critical of Ethereum. Why? Why do they do it? Are as you as befuddled as I am?
