RE: Qtum Staking Tutorial using qtumd on a Raspberry Pi 3
A few quick updates: Please make sure to use the latest Quantum wallet/node. As of Oct. 11th, 2017 this is . You'll want to download the qtum-0.14.3-arm-linux-gnueabihf.tar.gz file. Some people have mentioned

RE: Qtum Staking Tutorial using qtumd on a Raspberry Pi 3
I don't recommend using the Raspberry Pi 1 for this. If you do try, make sure that you're running the latest OS (i.e. Stretch) -- and you may need to enable swapping (to give the RPi more memory). Enabling

The .cookie file gets created in the datadir (by default under ~/.qtum) when qtumd starts up and RPC is enabled. You probably don't have qtumd running -- you can use $ pgrep -a qtumd to check (if that

RE: Encrypting, Backing-Up, and Restoring Your Qtum Wallet
UPDATE: The instructions above will still work with the latest Qtum wallet (i.e. Ignition v1.0.2). I should also mention that if you restore your wallet.dat file, you can opt to restart qtum-qt (or qtumd)

RE: Qtum Staking Tutorial using qtumd on a Raspberry Pi 3
The Qtum mainnet binary (Ignition v1.0.1) has now been released. I'm running a wallet/node on the RPi 3 using the qtum-0.14.3-arm-linux-gnueabihf.tar.gz binary found at . The instructions in the post above

Yes, until the mainnet is released, this is just practice. The steps will be the same (it will just be a different binary for the mainnet). Also be sure to read: .

It's currently enabled on the (Skynet) testnet. The Qtum mainnet (with support for POS/staking and the DGP) should be released in September or October 2017. You'll be able to stake the QTUM coins that
