Easy instructions for firmware Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge

Flashing Samsung Galaxy S6 via Odin 4-file firmware
1. Download Odin_v3.10.6.zip utility.
2. Download the firmware for your device (look for proper zip below)
3. Extract the Odin and firmware (preferably in the root of drive C:\)
4. Open the Odin utility as administrator. To do this, move the cursor to Odin application and click right mouse button, select “Run as administrator”, then click “Yes”.
5. After the launch Odin, we arrange the firmware files in the following order:
BL ………. tar.md5 file into a field «BL»
File AP ………. tar.md5 inserted into the «AP» Field
CP ………. tar.md5 file into a field of «CP»
CSC …….. tar.md5 file into a field «CSC»
If included with the firmware file is present * .pit, it must be inserted in the «PIT».
6. Switch your Samsung Galaxy S6 to flash mode by pressing Volume Down+Home and press the Power button, after the menu with a yellow triangle is appear, press the button Volume up.
7. Connect the device to the PC and press the button «Start». After successful firmware, the device will automatically reboot.
Note: If your PC does not recognize your device, try reinstalling the (SAMSUNG_USB_Driver_for_Mobile_Phones_v1.5.45.0.rar) and / or try another USB port.

Flashing Single-file firmware
When you flashing with single-file firmware, all user data will be stored.
If after downloading and unzipping the firmware you see a single file type or xxxxxxx.tar xxxxxxx.tar.md5 – means you have downloaded the single-firmware and it already has everything you need.
Do not forget to switch your device to work with Odin (boot mode / Odin mode / Download mode) mode.
In the Odin window, click on the button and select the .tar through review or .tar.md5 file with your firmware.
In the Programs tab, make sure the check mark placed correctly:
– Items Auto Reboot and F. Reset Time are marked;
– Other items are not marked.
Press the button. Will start the process of firmware.
Do not disconnect the device from the computer during this process!
Flashing usually takes a few minutes.
Upon completion of the flashing the device will reboot.
After rebooting, disconnect the device from the computer.
Done!
