Good question. I believe the picture is a bit more complex and bitconnect looses most of the comparisons. If your investment is high enough so that it generates enough interest to reinvest the situation

I guess they do it because they can. According to their twitter page we received our funds triple before august 1st :) If they think about future customer relationsships? There won't be many hardforks
