The video has so far generated over 11 million views and various tweeter users gave their opinions about the rock. One user said jokingly that the Bitcoin mining industry would like the discovery.

Debunking the myth To start with, Vibranium does not exist anywhere in the world, it was a mere fictional metal used in Marvel's movies such as Daredevil 13 and the first Black Panther and captain America. Another clip shows sparks appearing to fly between two large rocks.

Although the exact nature of the stones in the video is unclear, but Congo is known for to be rich in precious metals such as cobalt, coltan, gold and copper. In addition, certain metals and rocks have chemical and physical properties that make them suitable for conductivity testing.
