Hi Everyone,

This is my first Steemit post so I figured I would also bundle up a travel post and an introduce myself here.

So without further ado, I'm Richard.

I can geek out on those topics for ages but that's not the point of this post and if you are curious check out my blog digitalrichard.com . It's still a work in progress but I hope to keep updating this as I continue my "real" professional life as a business analyst at Capital One. To date I have been fortunate enough to be able to travel to 21 countries in my past 4 years all while being a full time student. This was mainly thanks to various study abroad programs, money saved from internships, organizing volunteer trips, and the occasional family vacations. You can see the full list here ! *As a side note, I consider a stay at a country to be minimum 3 days. Not an airport layover or something like that.

There's no easy answer....

One of the biggest questions I always get asked is, "Richard where was your favorite country to travel to?" This is honestly such a hard question because I tend to be slightly more ratchet than most people, but at the same time I try to have balanced traveling experiences in terms of cultural immersions, sightseeing, partying, and being an overall tourist. So I'm going to take the cop out answer and break my answer into some categories that I think most travelers would understand. *As a side note some of these countries will be duplicate winners, and I may update this list every year as I visit more places ;)*

So this category is definitely one of my most subjective mainly because my cultural immersion was heavily dependent on the people I traveled with and how long I was able to stay in the countries.
