Cuando se podía viajar sin restricciones, cuando podíamos vernos los rostros completos, cuando nada nos tapaba la sonrisa. Esos tiempos en que nos sentábamos uno al lado del otro, aún sin conocernos. Cuando un carraspeo o un estornudo no generaban la paranoia de hoy. Imposible no sentir nostalgia. Vieja normalidad? Para mi es la única. Me niego a suponer normal andar por la vida con una especie de bozal. Me opongo absolutamente a renunciar para siempre al contacto humano, al beso, al abrazo, a dar la mano. No encuentro ni un pelo de normal en permanecer encerrados el mayor tiempo posible, a desplazar de la infancia el compartir, el quitarle a los niños los espacios de esparcimiento. Tomar un taller de danza (o cualquier disiplina corporal) a través de una pantalla no me resulta nada cercano a lo atractivo. Deseo profundamente que mientras esta ola viral no termine, se encuentren distinas y mejores soluciones. Mientras tanto anhelo que la normalidad vuelva pronto y que nunca sea “vieja”. |ENG|_{I took this photo at the Tres Cruces terminal in Montevideo. When we could travel without restrictions, when we could see each other's full faces, when nothing blocked our smiles. Those times when we sat next to each other, even without knowing each other. When a throat clearing or a sneeze did not generate the paranoia of today.
Impossible not to feel nostalgic. Old normality? For me it is the only one. I refuse to assume that it is normal to go through life with a kind of muzzle. I absolutely refuse to renounce forever to human contact, to kiss, to hug, to shake hands. I don't find it normal at all to stay locked up as long as possible, to displace sharing from childhood, to take away children's recreational spaces. Taking a dance workshop (or any bodily discipline) through a screen does not seem to me anything close to attractive.

I deeply hope that as long as this viral wave does not end, different and better solutions will be found.

In the meantime I hope that normalcy returns soon and that it never gets "old".}| |-|-|
