How do you drive it without fret? I asked the mechanic who was fixing this car why the owner was fixing it now, and the reply was that the rust was so bad that they could see the road through the rust

I always advise to take an automobile mechanic, if possible, for inspection when purchasing. Even if one doesn't know what to check out for, a good one should help out.

Funny how many people don't inspect their cars properly for rust before second or third-hand purchase. Or perhaps they don't care. A simple peek in the underneath of the car would reveal some of this.

Should this car even be road worthy with this amount of rust? You might probably be shocked to know that this car would be reassembled and get back on the road with few welds here and there.
