I was not familiar with her photos but just had a look. See what you mean about the sublime (even if manufactured) symmetry. I still like the natural look of your image as it is - cropped or not.

Excellent catch with the lines of the building and street and the diagonals of the man walking. I wonder if you play with the cropping, you might be able to bring out those diagonal lines more to create

ha, I love those furry cows they seem like quirky characters

When thinking of Europe, I think of old medieval castles and cathedrals. One of the most magical places in Europe is Mont Saint Michel. A large cathedral that sits on a flood plain in Northern France.

I took this photo at Edfu Temple in Egypt. There were several birds flying around which is appropriate as this is a temple dedicated to Horus (a God represented by the falcon). I liked the ghostly blur
