Happy Friday Actifiters!
I hope you have all had a great week! I know my week has been busy, but it's been really good. I'm really grateful that I have been able to get some running in and other walking activity as well. I also feel like I've gotten some good things done at work, though with how busy it's been this past week, I feel like I still have a lot more to do.
I ran some errands on a break earlier today, but felt like my stiff legs needed a break from my desk so I took a short afternoon break to walk a couple laps at the duck pond.
It was a positively beautiful day. The sun was out and warm, but it definitely was not too hot so it made for a wonderful break.
I even got a chance to catch sight of the baby geese, though they're not much of babies anymore since they've lost most of their yellow. But they're still fuzzy and cute - I suppose they're like young teenage geese at this point. But they're parents are still very protective so I had to keep my distance.
The walk wasn't as long as I wanted, but I didn't have the time for anything longer. And I'm certainly thankful that I did have time to take a break and get that fresh air, Sunshine, and steps in today.
My piece of advice and encouragement from the week, do what you can to be healthy and active. Every little bit counts!
