RE: My Opinion On Udacity Vs. Udemy
In my experience, everything on Udemy is very introductory, but the courses I have taken have been great. As with most online learning, the responsibility falls on you to stick with it and make sure you

RE: Microsoft announces free private repositories on GitHub
This is great for me! I have all my private repos on bitbucket right now, but I'd prefer to move them all over to github since all my work is there.

Do you feel limited by the single display? If you moved the tower off the desk you might be able to fit a second one.

RE: Roundup of the Best Black Friday Deals on Tech Products for 2018 - Including Smart Home, Tablets, Robotics & More!
I grabbed a surface pro 6 from Microsoft. They are bundling the black i7 version with the type cover for $350 off. It's pretty nice but the stand takes some getting used to. I dropped it already trying

RE: My database got hacked 😔
Where is your db hosted? Are you typically on the run && ip rules would be a hassle? You also can store your db connection info in a file locally so you dont have to type it in (like .pgpass)

RE: Can't Think Of Something To Program Code?
I feel like the opposite is a more common issue. I always can't decide what to work on from lots of choices.

RE: Quickest Path to Becoming a Programmer
Your best option is to pick one and deep dive into it. They all have their differences, but knowing the fundamentals of programming will make learning a different language rather easy.

RE: Too many programming terms - DDOS
DDOS is a common term used, but also pretty easy to explain since there's not a really large technical knowledge needed for it. It's just spamming repeatedly from multiple people (or sources) and the server

That sounds like a great analogy, especially if you get a gif of 1000 people just circling from entrance to exit over and over again.

They're all really interchangeable and trying to distinguish between them is a bit silly.

RE: Git tutorial #23 - Git rebase
This is a personal preference, but I typically tell people not to use rebase. I used to tell them not to use rebase unless they knew what they were doing, but then we ran into tons of merge conflict issues.
