I just played this classic for my cousin a few days ago. He was "shook". What happened to real hip hop? Prodigy, one of the last of a dying breed. Gone to soon at the young age of 42.

I always thought this recording was a freestyle. More recently some say it's not. Freestyle or not, I think Big L had the better verse. Who would you pick as the winner of the "battle"?
