^{December 11th, 2024} ![](https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/asean.hive/TvYeNLiK-asean.border.png) For the first time in many months, perhaps even a year, there is no new delegation activity to report this week. There is some news with me though, I am back home in Cambodia and suffering from jetlag, but now I am rested and finally working to catch back up on my ASEAN Hive duties. I am still in Phnom Penh, so I have like 400km+ to drive home in our tuk-tuk with motorcycle and luggage in tow. It's going to be a long and crowded ride home, but I will be glad to get there ASAP. It appears as though after a 5 year battle with the US government, my family might finally have permission to visit the country which they should honestly have already had rights to. Well, I am not a lawmaker nor are my ideas on how to govern a country represented by any of America's two political parties, so this is just a reality I've had to accept as a US citizen. Even if we do get a visa to visit the USA, I will always regret the years and years it took away from our ability to live a normal lives, and perhaps even take family vacations to nearby countries like Thailand or Vietnam. As I write this, checkout time in our hotel is approaching and I am already two days late on my weekly challenge post. Well we have an 8 hour drive home, so it's likely I will fall behind once again, but once at home I will finally get a chance to get fully caught up after spending some quality time with my cats. There are five separate raffles, one for each VIP tier, and each tier's prize is a post beneficiary status equivalent to the tier's total percentage of raffle tickets allocated. This means the percentages of each tier's share of the prize is fluid, and I think it makes the raffle more fun and fairer.
