When other people whip and mutilate other people in the name of a religion, we are becoming a doomed society. Public flogging for gambling, extramarital sex, just found in a motel with a man that is not family. Even drinking alcohol, this is not a religion but a cult, in my opinion, that puts themselves above the law and the decency of being a human being. This is how much of the Muslim nations act. Then to say it is not about the pain but an shaming effect to get them to not do it again. This is another avenue to control of the population to get them to bend to the whims of a leader or a religion.We need to wake up and stop this violence on people.
