RE: AC Infinity Cloudline T6 - My Solution to the "Hot Miner Basement Blues"
All the post mentions is that you're heating your house with blockchain. That's not a description of mining Gridcoin, except maybe for a few tiny BTU from running the wallet. Not that I would blame you

RE: Free money because 2 BOINC projects do not provide (enough) work -> situation ongoing since 5-7 days
Good. Let's remove them. I don't know why everyone clamors to have their marginal pet projects included and treated as equals. There should probably only be about 10 projects in the list.

RE: BOINC project YAFU@home website down since >7h
YAFU should be removed from the whitelist. It never should have been included in the first place.

Why is gridcoin tagged? It sounds like you sold out.

RE: Why people do not keep their wallets open all the time
I would think that leaving this wallet open 24/7 would be less secure because now you have a program (written by mostly junior/incompetent devs) leaving a port open to the public internet. Doesn't it have

Back patting is at an all time high. When we find all the bugs you just introduced, I hope you list those just as openly (not proudly though).

RE: Idea for offline Promotion of Gridcoin
It's a good idea because university students are about the only people naive enough to believe in this coin long term!

RE: Why I Vote "No" On Adding Projects to the Gridcoin Whitelist If they Do Not have Sufficient Work-Units
Yes! Finally another person that thinks equally dividing the rewards among all projects is a bad idea! I think voting on which projects deserve the most computing power and having a magnitude multiplier

RE: Time for a change
My main problem with the whitelist is that it's an all or nothing thing. You're either on the whitelist, and 100% equal to all other well-established projects, or completely excluded. There is no in between

RE: What i'm crunching. Pt. 3: SETI
I see. So you're putting the least computing power toward the project you believe in most because you don't make any money off of it. Congratulations dude. You deserve a pat on the back.

RE: What i'm crunching. Pt. 1: SRBase
You're likely crunching it mainly because you're making the most money off of it. You didn't mention that. Are we supposed to pat you on the back for seeking the projects that make you the most money?

I think this looks much better than the new design, despite the fact that it doesn't scale well. But either way, I don't think it matters much. Having good branding is not going to suddenly make this coin's

Wouldn't it be awesome if we changed the rewards such that competitive miners worked on projects that the majority of Gridcoin users think are most useful to society (based on votes), instead of the ones

Apparently a lot of people think that's the right way to do it, but I think it's the wrong approach. IMO projects people think are most useful to society should have greater reward to encourage work on

Doesn't the practice of searching for the lowest RAC project trouble you a bit? Like, we're promoting adding computing power to projects that no one would otherwise care about helping?
