In this world, we are all dreamers in one way or the other but not all have the privilege of his or her dreams coming to fulfilment. We all have targets and aims but not all is having the grace of fulfilling the targets and aims.

We all dream of greatness ever since we attain the age of accountability. Our dreams started at kindergarten; we want to become a doctor, lawyer, pharmacist, pastor, pilot and so on... Our aim in life is to be financially independent and to be an employer of labor.

What are our dreams? Are they limitless or limited? "Oh! I don't have a dream" are mere sayings that means our dreams are diminishing.

Knowing fully well that we all are dreamers in one way or the other, our discuss is on how we can actualize our dreams and avoid the factors that kill them.

Below underlined factors are reasons some dreamers remain dreamers till nature calls them into dept:

ENVIROMENTAL FACTOR

How does environment becomes the soul factor that not only promote or demote our dreams but also influence it? As Africans, particularly Nigerians, the atmosphere around us is pivotal to our dreams. How can a child that dreams to be a lawyer actualize his or dream when the privileges of education are meant for some classes of citizens? How can a young man that wants to be a great entrepreneur suffer from unsupported motives either from government or citizens? Dreams in this context is what we aspire to be in life, the careers we choose to pursue, the goals and aims we plan to achieve.

Our environment includes our families, neighbours and/or government. Growing up, did our siblings support our dreams? Did our neighbors encourage our aims? Were necessary social amenities like access to funds provided by the government? How can we assess equality and peaceful environment? These questions asked in a free note requires our unsaid response. If we have positive answers as a dreamer, then there's a green light; else we are advised to sit up and change our environment....

MINDSET FACTOR

We are all dreamers but with various mindset. But what's the weight of our dreams? We are all dream chaser but not all have the focus. How taken-away are we by beautiful distractions? As a dreamer, is our mindset all about achievements, come what may?

How do we deal with an "ant" on our way hunting for "goats"? Big dreams are never to be negotiated or compromised. No...our mindset should be to believe in ourselves with zero fear for the irregularities and ill governance around us. Believing "we can" is not enough but doing it, powering it up, seeing it and feeling it. That way we'll easily acquire it. Positive mindset!

FRIENDS FACTOR

Even as friends, our dreams differ. Various folks with various strokes. The friends we move with are the oil to our lamp or its extinguisher. Our dream is our identity and personality. Oh! Who wants to associate with a failure? No one!

Therefore, our friends should not dictate but enumerate, not decide but prescribe. They should not only support our dreams but believe in us. Our friends should not only see the best in us but help discover and actualize it.

The factors needed to ease out our dreams are well known and won't be listed...Yes! here is the factual truth, what we are dreaming now had been dreamt years ago, people are dreaming it now and people will dream it in future. But actualizing it makes us a legit champion. There is no shortcut to success. We will have to work and sweat for it.

Remember we are all dreamers, we all dream, we all chase dreams. It is either our dreams actualizes us or we actualize our dreams. It is our wish that we take action.
