You will not be eligible for the HSBI or the PIMP drawing below unless you comment on at least two other poems for every poem you post (for example: if you post two poems, you should comment on four other poems). Also, the two people with the most comments each week will win 50 Ecency POINTS each. If one of the winners happens to me a member of the group (How to Become a Member) then that winning amount will be increased to 100 POINTS. Wow!

Every week we reward our active poets with two random drawings, one for HSBI and one for PIMP. Members get double the HSBI if they win.

Only people who gave two comments for every poem they posted are eligible for this contest. The only exception is that new poets are giving a pass their first week here. Also, to be entered in the Pimp contest, you must use the #pimp tag on your post.

Next week will be the same reward — shares of HSBI and PIMP

The exact amount of HSBI depends on how many poets submit poems for the week and currently the amount of PIMP will be 25 each (but this may decrease in the future as the price of PIMP increases).

0–9 poets - 1 HSBI
10–19 poets - 5 HSBI (split 2–2–1)
20–49 poets - 10 HSBI (split 3–2–2–2–1)

So if you want a chance for HSBI, go write a poem! If you want a chance for a lot of HSBI, go recruit others (and write a poem)! Spread the word, upvote and share this post to make it more visible, contact poet buddies on Discord and try to talk them into joining our group.

Make it a good comment (not just “great poem!”)
If you offer criticism, keep it gentle and polite and remember the golden rule of criticism: say at least two positive things for every one thing you criticize.

Anyone who doesn’t follow these rules will not be eligible for the reward.
