Hola a todos! Mi nombre es Kristhel Salazar, también me dicen Kris. Nacida en Caracas Venezuela hace 25 años el domingo de un 30 de abril. Soy una estudiante de Ciencias en la computación, violinista y Just Dancer de la comunidad de Just Dance Venezuela. > Hello everyone!! My name is Kristhel Salazar, also known as Kris. I was born on April 30th, 1995 in Caracas (Venezuela. I am a Computer Science student, violinist and a Just Dancer from Just Dance Venezuela community.

Cuando tenía 4 años, mi mamá me inscribió en clases de danza en el colegio para evitar que fuera una adicta a la televisión, lo intenté por un año y medio pero mi timidez e inseguridades con mi aspecto físico con respecto a las otras niñas, me hizo sentir incómoda por lo cual terminé dejándolo.

> When I was 4 years old, my mom enrolled me in dance classes to avoid raising a television addict. I tried for about a year and a half but I was shy because my physical appearance so I quit.

Cualquiera creería que todo terminó ahí, pero no. La verdad es que a mis 18 años con una autoestima renovada y seguridad, me reencontré con la danza gracias al videojuego Just Dance de Ubisoft. Lo que empezó como un hobbie terminó siendo una pasión y poco a poco gracias a la comunidad de Venezuela fui reencontrándome con aquel talento que jamás perdí.

> It sounds like and end. But truth is that when I was 18, I gained more trust in me, and raised my self-esteem, so I started dancing again, with the Ubisoft videogame: Just Dance. It started like a hobby, but nowadays is my passion. Empecé practicando en casa y poco a poco me atreví a más, al punto de ir a torneos como participante e incluso como jurado, para luego salir de mi zona de confort aprendiendo coreografías de Estudios de Baile como 1Million, y mis grupos de Kpop favoritos.

> I started practicing at home, and then I encouraged myself to go to Just Dance tournaments as a participant, and then being invited as a judge. After a while I went out my comfort zone learning new choreographies from Dance Studio like 1Million, or my favorited Kpop groups.

Actualmente la danza es algo que me llena de felicidad, algo que quiero llevar más allá de un hobbie y que quiero desarrollar completamente.

La verdad es que no. A mis 7 años encontré una actividad donde me quedé por muchos años: La música. Fui integrante del sistema de orquesta por más de 15 años, empezando por Coro (incluso cantando 2da de Mahler dirigida por Simon Rattle) y luego eligiendo mi hermoso violín, instrumento donde al día de hoy sigo encontrando felicidad y refugio.

> The truth is no. I started at 7 years old a new hobby where I stayed for a lot of years: Music. I belonged to “El Sistema” for more than 15 years. I started in a Chorus (Even singing Mahler’s 2nd symphony directed by Simon Rattle) and then I started to play the Violin. Until now playing violin makes me really happy.

Años más tarde, al ingresar en la universidad, fui forzada a elegir entre dos cosas: La música y mi carrera actual, por lo cual decepcionada y triste escogí mi carrera, la cual no ha sido fácil, pero también me apasiona y me hace feliz.

> Years passed, and when I started at college, I was forced to pick between music and Computer Science, and I was really sad but I picked my current career. Tanto baile como música van de la mano. Una me da ritmo, tempo, y la otra me da la capacidad de transmitir con mi cuerpo a todos lo que siento al bailar. Ambas crearon la persona que soy actualmente, y todo lo que quiero mostrar al mundo. Gracias a Dracrow y Shana ahora vivo esta nueva experiencia por mi propia cuenta donde espero seguir aprendiendo más sobre el tema mientras muestro completamente todas mis facetas.

> For me, music and dance belong to each other. One of them gives me tempo, rhythm and the other one able me to show to everyone with my body how I feel when I’m dancing. Personalmente sigo desarrollando mis talentos progresivamente, al igual que la plataforma sigue creciendo, quiero crecer conjunto con ella compartiendo todo mi progreso, opiniones y mostrar un poco mi forma de vivir la vida. Gracias a Dracrow y Shana por hacerme vivir esta nueva experiencia. Así que citando a Suzanne Collins:
