Yes it is!! And this house went through Katrina with a complete blow out on the bottom floor. ...a lot of damage...very $$$. We lived in the area at the time. My mom lives in French Quarter...was devastating!

But winters can get pretty cold around here. And a lot of work. But the access to this beautiful nature is worth it!

We adore the climate and all of the outdoor activities.
