So the 99% that's given to the author is 99% from the curators own curation award, not the total curation award. If the curator waits 15 minutes, then 50% of the curators curation award goes to the author?

Thanks for the link. Posts like this about progress on improving steemit should be more prominent. Once posts leave the hot/trending/active lists, they enter the void.
