A foreign science fiction novel "UNITED STATES OF JAPAN" that I stopped by a bookstore and read the following synopsis after a while I got it!
（本屋に立ち寄って　以下のあらすじを読んで久々に手にしてしまった海外のＳＦ小説「ユナイテッド・ステイツ・オブ・ジャパン」！）

The image is a simple book, but actually I bought the book version in the top and bottom.

Nazi Germany dominates the east coast of the United States, Japan takes control of the west coast!
（アメリカ東海岸をナチスドイツが支配し、西海岸を日本が支配するという世界観！）

It seems to call the area dominated by Japan "USJ"
（日本が支配する地域を「ＵＳＪ」と呼ぶらしい（笑）　）

It is UNITED STATES OF JAPAN, not Universal Studios Japan.
（ユニバーサルスタジオジャパンではなくユナイテッド・ステイツ・オブ・ジャパンである（ｗ））

The protagonist is Captain Ken Ishimura (Ben) of USJ.
（主役は、そのＵＳＪの石村紅功（ベン）大尉である。）

The author is a Korean American and said that it was influenced by Japanese cartoon culture.
（作者は韓国系のアメリカ人であり、日本の漫画文化に影響を受けたという。）

In the conversation of the characters, Saigo Takamori is a person rebelled against the Meiji government, but he is glad that he is also a hero or a history of Japan.
（登場人物の会話の中で西郷隆盛は明治政府に反乱した人物だが英雄である　とか　日本の歴史にも触れているので嬉しい。）

I feel that Japan is expressed as a cruel governance state, but how does the hero touch her own USJ?
（日本を冷酷な統治国家として表現されているような気がするが、主人公が自国ＵＳＪとどう接して行くのか？）

It is still starting to read, but it is going to be interesting in the future. It is a work I would like to recommend by all means.
