After an hour and a half of hiking straight up I finally reached the top. 875m in elevation.

About a 2 hour drive from my home I decided to go to Mont Tremblant for a day trip.

A trail near my second campsite lead to this view. But after getting back from the little nearby trail all I thought about the rest of the day and the next morning was how to get to that mountain. So before

Woke up to this stunning sunrise on the second day. Paddled through probably a million water lilies that day to get to my next campsite. Which did not disappoint, just as the last.

Four days alone in the wilderness has it's perks. Nothing but a canoe, two backpacks and a fishing rod.
