I agree with you. I dont think they will raise interest rates. Most places depend a lot on goods from China and if the uncertainty of the trade war looming, it puts the economy in a uncertain position.

No. Only a 8.77+% interest rate in savings would mitigate the inflation rate. Currently, we have no way to gain interest off of our steem/steem power.

This doesn't mitigate steem inflation. We can see this with how much our steemit power yields. 4 months ago, when I joined, about 75-125 steem power gave a .01 upvote with 100%. Now, according to steemworld,

Nice. That's pretty helpful. I also use the WOT or web of trust extension on my chrome to warn me of suspicious websites. You can submit websites for review by the creators of WOT too. It's a nice service.

I learned lesson 5 (dont be greedy) the hard way. I foolishly bought into deep brain chain after it got listed on kucoin. It quickly appreciated by like 3 or 4 times and I was making tons of money. Sadly

I think this will happen eventually. But cryptocurrency is still pretty new to the vast majority of people. Remember, it was just the summer of 2017 when it kind of hit on the scene. Patience it will happen.
