In this piece I willbe performing a business analysis of the Glitzkoin project in order to put into perspective the positive and negative factors that may make this project a success or a failure in the blockchain ecosystem.

Business analysis is a very important practice for every investor, because aside from all the hype and appeal a project or business may have, some will never live upto the expected heights and it always important to be absolutely sure about a business opportunity before investing money into it so as to not incure terrible losses.

Positive Factors

The Strengths

No Location Barrier: One of the major strengths of glitzcoin is the fact that there is no location barrier for the parties involved in business transactions and the beed to be physically present during transactions has been eliminated. With this feature a lot an entry is created for a lot of people into this industry and the market will only get bigger.

Tracking: Tracking is the biggest strength that this project have. The ability to track is an added positive for everyone in the industry, real diamonds can be tracked to verify their ancestry, where they were found, polished, their real values and this hoes further. Even after customer purchase of the end products, the blockchain is still used in the tracking of this gems by the owners to prevent theft and also for people who are buying diamonds to know if they are purchased legally or illegally. This is a game changer for Glitzkoin, breaking down old barriers, creating transparency and also reducing crime rates in the industry.

Open source: The Glitzkoin platform is open source in nature which allows third party services to be rendered on the platform, services like insurance, shipping, storage and more can be rendered using the platform and the smart contract ensures fairness in transactions between different parties. Also as technology improvea daily and more collaborations is formed between different fields in the world business, Glitzkoin is not exclusive to the traditional diamond industry alone and is open to implementation of new innovative services that have relations to dealing in diamonds and like precious stones.

As blockchain technology and cryptocurrencies approach mass adoption, Glitzkoin will be at the center of a multi-billion dollar market and the token holders as well as those actively using the tokens on the platform will make very good ROI or profits for possession of the because of the increased demand.

The opportunity for Glitzkoin and its investors is massive.

Weakness

Like most niche related projects, Glitzkoin's concentration specifically on the diamond niche means that although it is operating in a massive market, it is also restricted to that market. That said, as potential competitors make entry into the blockchain/diamond market, Glitzkoin will have a tough fight on its hands. This however is common with most projects and I don't see it as much of a weakness, because from the customers perspective, competition makes businesses strive to perform better in order to serve the users better.

Another weakness I am able to discover from this project is the hardcap for the token sale which is at $41.8 million, considering the current market conditions and the fact that Glitzkoin is a niche project, this is too high in my perspective and the hardcap may be difficult reach.

Conclusion

After this careful analysis I believe Glitzkoin is well poised to be a good investment opportunity, from an investor's perspective, when a great project like this doesn't meet its set hardcap, it presents an opportunity to make good ROI quicker when it gains more recognition even before it goes mainstream.
