La particolare caratteristica dei petali, che si chiudono la sera per riaprirsi la mattina, rappresenta la forza vitale capace di rigenerarsi. Il loto è collegato anche alla resurrezione ed all’immortalità. Questa specie arborea, esprime significati sia profondi che potentissimi, come la crescita spirituale, la resurrezione, la consapevolezza della propria natura e della propria forza e la capacità di non farsi contaminare dalle “lordure” di questo mondo.
