A great friend of mine posted a photo and then a video in his WhatsApp status where a shaved girl, that is to say, without any hair, shaved another one, leaving her the same, totally shaved. I answered the story and she told me very little, she gave me the girl's number so I could talk to her, she only told me that the girls get a cut out of the ordinary and then they run the machine until they leave them without hair. For having that courage they paid you a lot of dollars 🤑 Thinking about it and also analyzing the situation I was in, almost 6 months pregnant, I immediately wrote to the girl.

Un gran amigo coloco una foto y luego un vídeo en su estado de WhatsApp dónde una chica rapada, es decir sin nada de cabello, afeitaba a otra, dejándola igual, totalmente rapada. Le respondí la historia y me contó muy poco, me pasó el número de la muchacha para que yo hablará con ella, únicamente me dijo que a las chicas les hacen un corte fuera de lo común y luego le pasan la máquina hasta dejarlas sin cabello. Por tener esa valentía te pagaban una cantidad de dólares 🤑 Pensándolo y también analizando la situación en la que me encontraba, casi con 6 meses de gestación,le escribí de inmediato a la chica.

He answered me confirming what my friend had told me. There was a payment, for the fact of letting you have an extreme cut, then shave your head and something that amazed me is that they also had to shave your eyebrows, that made me have thoughts where I wondered if I really wanted that and if I would be willing. She asked me for a photo, to pass on to the people in charge of the project. She would write me if their answer was positive or negative.

Me respondió confirmandome lo que me había dicho mi amigo. Había un pago, por el hecho de dejarte hacer un corte extremo, luego raparte y algo que me asombró es que también y a juro, debían afeitarte las cejas, eso me hizo tener pensamientos dónde me preguntaba si de verdad quería eso y si estaría dispuesta. Me pidió una foto, para pasárselas a las personas encargadas del proyecto. Ella me escribiría si la respuesta de ellos es positiva o negativa.

A few days later I received his message saying that haircuts were performed once a month, that he already had all the girls for that year, if any of them said no, there might be a vacancy, for next year, in January I could write him again. And also that several curly-haired girls had already shaved their hair, and that maybe if I dried my hair and straightened it, I would be a candidate to win that vacancy. I accepted, I said it was fine. That I would keep waiting and that in January I would write to him.

Y así quedé con incertidumbre, pasaron las semanas y no recibía ninguna respuesta, le escribí 👀 me dijo que seguía esperando. A los días recibí su mensaje diciendo que los cortes de cabellos se realizaban una vez al mes, que ya tenía a todas las chicas por ese año, si alguna decía que no, podría haber una vacante, para el año entrante, en Enero podría escribirle de nuevo. Y también que ya se habían afeitado varias chicas de cabello rizados, que quizás si me secaba el cabello, me pasaba plancha es decir me lo alisaba sería una candidata que ganaría esa vacante. Lo acepte, dije que estaba bien. Que seguiría esperando y que en Enero le escribiría.

While I was resting I imagined myself without hair, I repeated in my mind that they had accepted me. I managed to feel that emotion in my body, my brain in action said: "I accept it, it is for me".

Recibí una respuesta parecida a la anterior. Debía esperar a que ellos decidieran, ella me volvería a escribir. Pasaron las semanas, cuando me veía en el espejo me imaginaba cómo me vería sin cabello. Mientras descansaba me imaginaba sin cabello, repetía en mi mente que si me habían aceptado. Logré sentir esa emoción en mi cuerpo, mi cerebro en acción decía: "Lo acepto, es para mí".

Everything worked out, I had to wait until March for the cut. I came to that reality. March came and so we were summoned for the 11th at 10am in Plaza Venezuela to leave for three days and two nights for Colonia Tovar in Aragua State.

Todo funcionó, tenía que esperar hasta marzo para el corte. Llegué a esa realidad. Entró marzo y así nos citaron para el 11 a las 10am en plaza Venezuela para irnos tres días y dos noches para la Colonia Tovar en el estado Aragua.

As I said at the beginning, I made a great decision, the most wonderful one. I connected with women of great courage, totally friendly, full of great maturity, willing to do many things, without fear of change.

Así como dije al principio una gran decisión tomé, la más maravillosa. Conecte con mujeres de mucha valentía, totalmente amigables, llenas de gran madurez, dispuestas a muchas cosas, sin temor al cambio.

So we started our 180° change, in a cabin in the state of Aragua, 6 girls who live together and one sleepover night decide to play truth or dare and for each one who accepted the challenge had to get a haircut or shave completely.

Así empezamos nuestro cambio de 180°, en una cabaña en el estado Aragua, 6 chicas que viven juntas y una noche de pijamada deciden jugar verdad o reto y por cada una que aceptará reto debía hacerse un corte o raparse completamente.

The first day we lasted until 11:00pm. The next day the rest of the cuts were made. I was the one who started the game and the one who finished it. I was shaved last, I saw the look of fear on each of the girls' faces, their surprised faces, their emotions and their new attitudes.

El primer día duramos hasta las 11:00pm. Al día siguiente se hicieron los demás cortes. Fui la que empezó el juego y la que lo termino. Me afeitaron de última, vi la cara de temor de cada una de las muchachas,sus caras de sorprendidas, sus emociones y sus nueva actitudes

My haircut lasted an hour, I didn't think about anything, I just listened to the machine every time they passed it.

Una hora duró mi corte de cabello, no pensaba en nada, únicamente escuchaba la máquina cada vez que la pasaban.

I felt very confident about the decision I had made, years before I had shaved my head and I already knew what the feeling of freedom was 😁.

The big change was the eyebrows, since I was a teenager I remember having united eyebrows, because of the amount of hairs. Seeing myself without eyebrows was very emotional.

El gran cambio fue las cejas, desde la adolescencia recuerdo tener las cejas unidas, por la cantidad de vellos. Verme sin cejas fue muy emotivo.

So we finished recording, fed ourselves, drank rum and coke, got to know each other, shared experiences, and ended up having a very pleasant evening.

Así terminamos de grabar, nos alimentamos, tomamos ron con coca cola, nos conocimos, compartimos experiencias, y terminamos de pasar una noche muy agradable.

It was nice to be with 6 girls in a cabin, having totally different topics of conversation. Especially about hair and what it represents in women, that topic of the longer the more beautiful, the more hairstyle the more presentable you look, dyeing it in some color, is synonymous of rebellion and shaving it is for some disease.

Agradable fue estar con 6 chicas en una cabaña, teniendo temas de conversación totalmente diferentes. Sobre todo el del cabello y lo que representa en la mujer, ese tema de mientras más largo más bella, mientras más peinado más presentable te ves, el teñirlo de algún color, es sinónimo de rebeldía y que raparlo es por alguna enfermedad.

We should all review ourselves, internalize ourselves and be aware of our beliefs. Each one of us gives importance to the things, objects and people we love. And above all because we saw it, we heard it, we memorized it and it became our truth.

Todos debemos revisarnos, interiorizarnos y ser consciente de nuestras creencias. Cada quién le da importancia a las cosas, objetos, personas que quiere. Y sobre todo porque así lo vimos, lo escuchamos, lo memorizamos y se convirtió en nuestra verdad.

El obtener dinero, es de mucho esfuerzo físico, de trabajo duro, de constancia, de una rígida disciplina y de muchísimas creencias limitativas. Y dependiendo de esa verdad memorizada será lo que nuestro mundo exterior nos refleje.

That's why, yes that's why, for something so simple they gave me money. > Mi nuevo Yo aprovecho la oportunidad de pasar Tres días y dos noches en una cabaña de un lugar de Venezuela que nunca había conocido, con todo pago. Una alimentación sana porque como ya había dicho en un post anterior minimice las harinas, así que fue una alimentación Sin Gluten. La sintonía y la conexión con mujeres muy auténticas y sobre todo un intercambio de dinero por tu cabello, eso que tienes ahí, que te crece y se cae todos los días. Eso que hace que te tardes mucho más para salir ya que debes peinarlo, plancharlo, mejor dicho mantenerlo. Eso que si ves a un bebé le dices que parece una niña con el cabello largo y si ves a una bebé con el cabello corto parece "un machito". Eso que está ahí y que supuestamente te realza la belleza, por eso que casi siempre que pasa algo en tu vida y quieres tener un cambio, lo cortas, lo tiñes y listo, una nueva persona. Por eso, sí por eso, por algo tan sencillo me dieron dinero.
