En tiempos modernos la idea de reinventarse a sí mismo resulta ser una cuestión muy de moda en virtud a los cambios financieros y meramente sociales que han venido acaeciéndose con relación al acontecer actual debido a la globalización y las mismísimas industrias que giran en torno a ella, pues lo maravilloso, y algo novedoso, de tal concepto radica en que sobre su propia concepción reposa un significado distinto que cada uno de nosotros puede concederle ya que uno mismo posee la facultad de labrar nuestro propio camino de forma única y personal en función a los modos de reinvención individual y el sentido que le deseemos proporcionar.

In modern times the idea of reinventing oneself is a very fashionable issue due to the financial and purely social changes that have been taking place in relation to current events due to globalization and the very industries that revolve around it, because what is wonderful, and what is new, is that it is a new concept, of such a concept lies in the fact that on its own conception rests a different meaning that each of us can grant it, since we ourselves possess the faculty of carving out our own path in a unique and personal way according to the modes of individual reinvention and the meaning that we wish to give to it.

¿Qué es la reinvención? Muy sencillo, esta hace mención a la capacidad de la que gozamos todos y cada uno de nosotros de inventar nuevamente sobre lo que ya existe con el fin de mejorarlo, pues a lo largo de nuestras vidas vamos adquiriendo conocimientos esenciales y aprendiendo nuevas habilidades a través de los diversos cargos que ocupamos en los empleos y roles de vida en los que nos vemos envueltos para lograr desarrollarnos más oportunamente, por ello se dice que la reinvención a partir de su concepción va de la mano con la novedad y una posterior transformación, aunque tal capacidad de redescubrimiento y reencuentro visto desde una perspectiva más orgánica y personal también puede abarcar la facultad de aplicabilidad de las que nos dota el cumulo de experiencia que obtenemos a lo largo de nuestra existencia.

What is reinvention? Very simply, it refers to the capacity that each and every one of us has to reinvent what already exists in order to improve it, because throughout our lives we acquire essential knowledge and learn new skills through the various positions we hold in the jobs and life roles in which we are involved in order to develop ourselves more opportunely, That is why it is said that reinvention from its conception goes hand in hand with novelty and a subsequent transformation, although such a capacity for rediscovery and reencounter seen from a more organic and personal perspective can also encompass the faculty of applicability that the accumulation of experience that we obtain throughout our existence endows us with.

Esta, para mí, trata de una ocasión bastante especial debido a que justamente un día como hoy, hace unos tres meses, fue la primera vez que publiqué un artículo o post en esta plataforma sin imaginarme el impacto tan significativo y trascendental que esta tendría en mi rutina y sobretodo en mi crecimiento personal, pues la narrativa que me permitiré abordar a continuación se encuentra sustentada en el destacado papel que ha ejercido Hive Blog sobre mi estilo de vida actual y cómo ha sido la experiencia de poseer un espacio dentro de esta maravillosa comunidad para darle cabida a mi libertad de expresión por medio de la escritura creativa como elemento prevalente que suele caracterizarme.

This, for me, is a very special occasion because it was precisely on a day like today, about three months ago, that I published my first article or post on this platform without imagining the significant and transcendental impact it would have on my routine and above all on my personal growth, The narrative that I will allow myself to address below is based on the prominent role that Hive Blog has played in my current lifestyle and how it has been the experience of having a space within this wonderful community to make room for my freedom of expression through creative writing as the prevailing element that usually characterizes me.

Mi historia se remonta de manera inicial luego de haber renunciado hace algunos meses al trabajo que desempeñaba en el hospital de la ciudad donde vivo; una época marcada por la ansiedad producto de la expectativa de un futuro incierto, pues recuerdo haber iniciado de manera inmediata e incesante una constante búsqueda de nuevos horizontes, nuevos caminos para recorrer con la idea de diversificarme y evolucionar personal y profesionalmente, recuerdo haber realizado decenas de llamadas a empresas para solicitar algún empleo disponible, haber enviado correos electrónicos a distintas organizaciones y, sobretodo, recuerdo haber acudido a infinidades de lugares para dejar mi resumen laboral y mostrar mi interés por trabajar, pero mientras más transcurría el tiempo sin obtener una respuesta favorable más me invadía la frustración de no canalizar lo que anhelaba: un trabajo estable con una remuneración modesta que me permitiera avanzar un escaño más hacia mi propia independencia. Luego, tomando el consejo de mi padre de “si deseas que algo te salga bien, hazlo tú mismo”, decidí iniciar mi travesía como abogado independiente en tramites civiles, pero gracias al agudizamiento de la pandemia por coronavirus todas las instituciones con fines legales, desde las notarías hasta los tribunales, debieron cerrar indefinidamente para cumplir con la cuarentena impuesta dejándome a mí básicamente en el aire con respecto a mis aspiraciones, esto me indujo a reevaluar nuevamente mi situación y pensar en cómo abordarla de manera diferente para atender y subsanar mis necesidades padecidas, es decir, reinventarme.

My story goes back to when I quit my job at the hospital in the city where I live a few months ago; A time marked by anxiety resulting from the expectation of an uncertain future, because I remember having started immediately and incessantly a constant search for new horizons, new paths to follow with the idea of diversifying and evolving personally and professionally, I remember having made dozens of calls to companies to apply for any available job, I had sent emails to different organizations and, above all, I remember going to an infinite number of places to leave my resume and show my interest in working, but the more time passed without a favorable response, the more I was overcome with frustration at not being able to channel what I wanted: a stable job with modest pay that would allow me to move one more seat towards my own independence. Then, taking my father's advice that "if you want something to work out, do it yourself," I decided to begin my journey as an independent lawyer in civil proceedings, but thanks to the worsening of the coronavirus pandemic, all legal institutions, from notaries to the courts, were affected, had to close indefinitely to comply with the quarantine imposed leaving me basically in the air with respect to my aspirations, this induced me to re-evaluate my situation and think about how to approach it differently in order to address and remedy my suffering needs, that is, to reinventing myself..

Hubo una temporada en la que opté por confinarme en mi habitación debido al malestar emocional que experimenté por no poder involucrarme en una actividad o labor que me mantuviera mentalmente activo, pues mi situación dio un giro de 180 grados cuando en una conversación telefónica con mi primo Franco (@franzzonline), alguien que estimo enormemente, escuché por primera vez las palabras “Hive Blog”, pues él, conociendo mi afición por la escritura creativa como catalizador de mi intelectualidad, me recomendó investigar sobre el tema y curtirme en aspectos básicos de programación para entrar en dicho mundo lo más pronto posible, algo que terminó materializándose un par de días después al inscribirme en la plataforma y publicar mi primer post: “La Presentación del Ser: una mirada inicial y descriptiva sobre mi persona” generando así mis primeros $6 en ganancias y adquiriendo un sentido de pertenencia inmediato con el espacio que se me fue concedido para expresarme libremente y ser quién sencillamente soy a través de mis escritos cargados de pragmatismo, experiencias personales, un eventual objetivismo consciente y una inusual perspectiva que edifica a la existencia misma.

There was a time when I chose to confine myself to my room because of the emotional discomfort I experienced from not being able to engage in an activity or work that would keep me mentally active. My situation took a turn for the worse when I first heard the words "Hive Blog" during a phone conversation with my cousin Franco, someone I hold in high esteem, because he knew my love for creative writing as a catalyst of my intellect, he recommended me to investigate the subject and to learn the basics of programming to enter this world as soon as possible, something that ended up materializing a couple of days later when I registered on the platform and published my first post: "The Presentation of the Self: an initial and descriptive look at my person" thus generating my first $6 in earnings and acquiring an immediate sense of belonging to the space that was granted to me to express myself freely and be who I simply am through my writings loaded with pragmatism, personal experiences, an eventual conscious objectivism and an unusual perspective that builds up existence itself.

Quizás mi historia no sea tan diferente a la de muchas otras personas con respecto al involucramiento en esta plataforma, pero el inmenso valor que yo le concedo a la mía trasciende a través del aprendizaje y los valores que esta me ha inculcado, desde la constancia con respecto a la hora de publicar mis escritos diariamente hasta la perseverancia que experimento cuando mis publicaciones no generan mucho dinero y suelo transformarla en inspiración para pasar a mi siguiente post, pues lo cierto del asunto es que pertenecer a esta comunidad no es considerado de mi parte como un simple trabajo, sino más bien como un estilo de vida, es por ello que el hecho de compartir mis más profundos pensamientos y opiniones con quienes se dan la tarea de leerme representa para mí un compromiso con ellos y es a partir de allí de dónde deriva mi intento en esforzarme para ofrecerles una experiencia literaria de calidad en aras a la excelencia intelectual.

Perhaps my story is not so different from many others regarding my involvement in this platform, but the immense value I place on mine transcends through the learning and values it has instilled in me, from the constancy with which I publish my writings daily to the perseverance I experience when my publications do not generate much money and I usually transform it into inspiration to move on to my next post, For the truth of the matter is that belonging to this community is not considered by me as a simple job, but rather as a way of life, which is why the fact of sharing my deepest thoughts and opinions with those who give themselves the task of reading me represents for me a commitment to them and it is from there that I derive my attempt to strive to offer them a quality literary experience in the interests of intellectual excellence.

Nadie nace aprendido, eso es seguro, pues uno de los aspectos que me encantaría resaltar aquí es la afabilidad de los miembros que hacen vida dentro de esta gran comunidad para instruir a todo aquel que requiera ayuda, lo digo por experiencia propia, ya que han sido varias las ocasiones en las que personas de diversas partes del mundo me han dado sus recomendaciones, consejos o simplemente han compartido sus puntos de vista conmigo en relación a los temas que suelo abordar y eso, en mi opinión, es grandioso y contribuye significativamente a una interacción más completa.

No one is born learned, that's for sure, because one of the aspects that I would love to emphasize here is the affability of the members who make life within this great community to instruct anyone who requires help, I say this from my own experience, since there have been several occasions in which people from different parts of the world have given me their recommendations, advice or simply shared their points of view with me in relation to the issues that I usually address and that, in my opinion, is great and contributes significantly to a more complete interaction.

Tanto ha sido el impacto de esto que gracias a mi incursión en Hive Blog pude desarrollar mi lugar armonioso de escritura, es decir, mi estudio personal, en la comodidad de mi hogar tanto para crear mis artículos como para dedicarle tiempo a la redacción de mi primer libro que planeo publicar de manera independiente en su debido momento, eso me resulta sencillamente fabuloso. Además, gracias al dinero que he recaudado a través de cada post publicado, pude crear un fondo de ahorros destinado a la satisfacción de mis necesidades e intereses personales a corto, mediano y largo plazo sin importar la magnitud de su escala, pues sé que aún queda mucha tela para cortar con respecto a esta experiencia y espero que sean muchos más los aprendizajes y beneficios que sigan fluyendo a partir de mi participación y aporte en esta grandiosa comunidad, más allá de un interés pecuniario.

So much has been the impact of this that thanks to my incursion in Hive Blog I was able to develop my harmonious place of writing, that is, my personal study, in the comfort of my home both to create my articles and to dedicate time to the writing of my first book that I plan to publish independently in due course, that is simply fabulous. In addition, thanks to the money I have collected through each post published, I was able to create a savings fund aimed at satisfying my personal needs and interests in the short, medium and long term regardless of the magnitude of its scale, because I know that there is still much to be cut from this experience and I hope that many more lessons and benefits will continue to flow from my participation and contribution to this great community, beyond a pecuniary interest.
