Very disappointing summoner. We already have good reach and trample cards in Chaos water decks - diemonshark and flying squid. 6 mana doesn't justify the usefulness of this card.

For the 2nd weak point, my always go to strategy is to put jared scar at the front, while shieldbearer acts as taunt in the backline. This way, all the opponents attacks will be directed to shieldbearer,
