Third Ulog Entry: My Pets and I

Dear Diary, Today, I was kind of bored here in the house after doing some teachings in the chapel from our cathecism that I just finished couple of hours ago. When I came home, my dogs and cats greeted me welcome upon reaching the gate. It was a tiring job to do but these pets really ease all the stress from a tough day. I am a kind of person who really loves animals, well actually, my family loves animals and we really have lots of animals here at home. Let me show some pictures of my pets. 1. Dogs. He was given to us when I was in the fifth grade (I am going 11th grade right now) and he is still living with us. He is sweet, passionate and loving. He never forgets to greet everyone of us who will wake up in the morning. We have the same birth month which is November. He really loves to eat and go for walks. We got his name from the Japanese movie, "Hachiko". It was my mom's idea actually because she really loves to movie and when he was still a pup, whenever we say "Hachi" he will eventually come to us. So that is how we got his name. This is Barney's son and sad to say that the mother, our neighbor's dachshund, died because of sickness. Hachi is very helpful like his father. He never fails to help my mom in doing household works though he sometimes messes up things. He loves to play with his father and to us and he also loves to go for walks. Hachi is an intelligent dog. When it's already bath time, he immediately hides under the sofas and chairs because he doesn't want to go for a bath. (Both of them actually) These dogs are very loving and passionate. Their kisses and their playfulness will really uplift your day. 2. Cats Since I was still in Kindergarten, I already have cats as my pets. I do not know why he is named Mikmik by my mother but he loves his name. He is a sweet cat and a chubby cat. He also loves to be patted on his head and gives out his purrs. They are best buds with my father since my father gives him food most of the time. Anna and Belle. Sad to say that I do not have their pictures yet. These cats were adopted by my mother whom she found that they are wandering so she brought them home. They are sweet cats and they love to wander around the garden. So, those are my pets here at home. We actually have chickens but those are my father's already hahaha.

Benefits Of Having Animals At Home:

There are a lot of benefits when you have pets at home and let me mention few of them. * Stress-reliever. They are great stress relievers that you'll end up smiling even though you had a tough day. * They are great companies. This is really true since I am only child and my parents are often busy so they give you the best company. * Best friends. Like the one I said earlier that they give great companies, they can be your best friends too. Whenever you are lonely or problematic, they are always there for you. And the best of all they can give, * Love. Like our parent's love, their love for us is never ending. They may be animals, but thinking that they are family members too. Though they cannot provide us materialistic things, they provide the only thing we yearn and that is their never-ending love.

Conclusion:

Pets are family members. They are made by God for us to be loved more than enough. They love us more than their own lives and surely that their loyalty will always be with us. We are their only joy and they should be our joy too. So, diary, this would be my third ulog entry containing how I love my pets so much. Yours truly, @lunajey
