This is my updated Introduction post.

Howdy folks. I am a Man In Pain. A bit over a month ago the boy that I raised as if he were my own son took his own life. On that day I wrote THIS poem. Since then the pain in my heart has not lessened.

I raised you as my daughter. I love you as if you are my own flesh and blood. I held you when you cried. I brushed away your tears. I picked you up when you fell. I taught you how to be a strong woman.

Without you, I am nothing. Without you, I have nothing. Without you, all the warmth in my heart escapes me. Without you, My heart becomes but a rock. Without you, my passion is extinguished like a flame
