He is a holy God so those who must seek his face must be holy and of a true and pure mind. As believer or those who want to seek good, we need to be prayerful, we need to be and hearer and doer of God's words. Such person must not forsake the assembly of the holy one and must always read the word of God which is the bible. Also, a person who is boastful, filled with pride, lust, humble cannot seek the face of God. So as Christians, to seek God is simple.
