Uphold is terrible! It took two weeks to get my BTC and then a very hefty transaction fee to move it from there to my wallet !! Never again There were hidden fees on top of that too Totally ridiculous

It's been hard since Coinbase has shut down. But after a lot of checking around it turns out there are a few good peer to peer platforms like x-coins . I found them all at www.hawaiibitcoin.org
