Ich würde dir den Duolingo Kurs vorschlagen. Das mit den vielen prefixen von den Verben ist zwar kompliziert aber für Basic communication reichts. Grammatik ist sonst einfach.

well from my experience, living next to the sea means also more rain, lots of rain, while winter gets to -10C° back home are no lakes or rivers though, just a few creeks and ponds, and it gets some winters
