In my opinion, it would only be the case if fiat became completely worthless, in which 500,000 wouldn't be much at all. But I do agree on his views on security.

Honestly, I've just stopped caring for what John McAfee says. Obviously he has a lot to gain from hyping up bitcoin, he has his money in it after all. Not to mention that 500,000 might not be worth much
