RE: The Scottish Thistle ~ Art By Red Dust
What a fantastic project! I live in the UK now, but my family were early settlers in New Zealand and came from the Highlands (Sutherlands!). I wonder if that's something you could put online elsewhere

RE: Overwhelm: Creating mental white space
Just to add, this is also great when you're trying to get clarity about a situation, decision or even 'just' your values/priorities. At the moment I'm thinking about all of those things and this exercise

RE: 24 hours without surfing
So, my update. I did go for the full 24 hours without surfing, but opened my browser in the evening to watch Netflix. In the morning, I realised that deciding which apps did/didn't count was more difficult

Good idea! So far I've managed to do this a few times, but I keep forgetting. I think a physical notebook might help me to remember...

RE: Adventures Trying to Buy a Mattress and Rollerblading in Montreal
This post inspires me to get my rollerblades out. Back in 1994...in NZ...I managed to convince my mother that I couldn't live without rollerblades. I tried them about 5 times, then we moved to the UK.
