RE: An Overwhelming Mess
He has a 336 John Deere throw bailer and 4 throw bailer racks, he is asking $7,000. Not sure if that is a good deal or not. For reference, I bought an older non-throwing New Holland with no trailers for

Thanks @hebrewhousewife! Between work, projects, and canceling our terribly slow and unreliable home Internet connection, I haven't had much online presence lately. Thanks for the kind words on the cabinets!

Thank you! We are pretty stoked to have the bins on our property now, even if they sit in storage for a year. That could very well be an option! We are looking forward to getting them done and meeting

I just bought almost the same 12VDC charger, but the model without the battery and built in solar panel! I have my own batteries and solar system I will be connecting it to. Glad to hear it sounds like

Thank you! For sure! The second one came down much faster than the first one! Although it will be harder to put them together than take them apart, at least they will be located just outside our house,

RE: Grain Bin Disassembly
Exactly! Lacking appropriate tools (crane or bin jacks), we took them down the old fashioned way :) My wife and I are re-purposing them next summer on our property as two off-grid guest houses.

I've been asked about the windows and doors a lot. It is not that difficult, actually, almost no different than a traditional steel building (like what most sheds and garages are now made of). Just requires

Any day the cows don't step on you is a good day. I have an ornery fella that likes to swing his head when I take too long at getting his grain out to him. Big baby.
