You can do something like this and similar with the front wheel too, if you have another one. Which protects the frame and the wheel at the same time. But your right it isn't full proof but it is a reasonable

I'm totally in mate. This is a great initiative, hopefully this will bring all of the cyclists on steemit closer together. I know that the are a lot of us on here. Can't wait to see how this progresses.
