i have a hard time understanding the economics of this. why would such activity require a native token? how would such a token get off the ground with such a tiny user base?

i think the steemit community has and is shrinking drastically. hard to know if the steem blockchain will even make it. finding incentive today is tough...

not sure anybody wants to be compensated with STEEM ;p. take #BTC :)
