Ahhh this brings me back to my first 'struggle' with digital. As a 'negative' analog thinker it took me a bit to see the positive :-). I remember the advice to set my camera to a halve under exposure.

Totally agree, I always try to explain the same to my students. As with every craft trial and error has it's place, but being able to repeat the best results is so important. Did you use fiber or plexiglas
