I remember playing the original Tomb Raider on my 486 and it ran like crap. After installing the Voodoo2 card, holy crap the graphics seemed 100 times better and the FPS was so smooth.

I was experiencing a lot of crashes with Battlegrounds until I saw the game was using almost 8GB of RAM. I upgraded to 16GB and now I have way less crashes. I hope the extra RAM serves you well.
