I've never figured out how to successfully day trade or short term trade cryptocurrencies. I know it is possible - I just don't have that kind of time. I think for most people, a long term buy and hold

I agree, but I wouldn't expect Ethereum to plummet in the long term or even the mid term just because of that. The diverse uses of Ethereum beyond just store of value and money transfer are so immensely

Yeah, I think #1 is virtually impossible, but still could happen in the event of a major international collapse of the current financial system. Unlikely, but possible. I agree that #2 is the most likely
