I am daughter, the third of the 10 children of Mateo and Magdalena. My dad is a Mechanical Engineer, and my mom is a businesswoman. We, the siblings, grew up separately because there were so many of us. Each of us lived with our aunts one by one until we were all brought together when I was a teenager and studied in the province. We became NPA, which means No Permanent Address, moving from Cagayan to Cebu and back to Cagayan, then graduated Manila and Cebu again, until I graduated from the University of San Carlos. BSCOM (Computer Office Management) and at the University of San Jose in a Vocational course as Dressmaking, I was lucky that my sister was my teacher at San Jose, she helped me pass all the requirements and I accomplished it at TESDA. For the sponsorship, there was a sewing machine and allowance provided, so I finished.
