Thanks @mipiano. It's indeed been a while. Busy with other things. Though I've been working on new scores and recordings, so this summer I'll be publishing the 'stock' I've build up. A very nice summer

I think the important thing with old music (baroque and before) is not to strive to the 'correct' way of playing it, but to a convincing way of playing it.

Yes, my account once was partitura. I decided to continue after my previous account was hacked, but it's still a sore spot. I know I should post in communities more. But I often forget to select one...

It means State Library, actually a very functional and a bit boring name... Luckily most manuscripts and old editions are complete.

And I like creating the scores, so it sort of a double pleasure...

I'm glad you liked this post. I like writing a bit about music theory. Not the most popular topic, it won't make trending, yet it is where I can contribute something of value.

Next step is to aply it to something new. Hopefully later this week I have time for that.

I'm a little hazy on the fine details as well. Writing posts like this helps to bring it back a bit 😀
