In defense of the 1 DEC listing fee: as mentioned, it will reduce network congestion and spamming it creates another DEC sink, which in theory should make DEC more valuable it would overall raise the cost

I don't think it's a money grab. Charging a nominal fee just makes it so it's not free, and thus doesn't get spammed. With that said, 1 DEC will definitely make some cards impossible to rent in the current
