While there are certainly a lot of them 50% seems a bit high. And of course Facebook has no incentive to cull these bot or fake accounts as number of users is a performance metric for them.

I'm not sure it's really Tesla's fault when the product is being used outside of their operating specifications. Certainly its a tragedy, but driving at 116MPH kinda makes the results your responsibility.
